MIND -
Through it's grant programs, The ODF creates opportunities for young people to see and experience. That involvement builds hope and helps turn dreams into reality.
HEART -
The ODF also funds special initiatives, such as camps, seminars, career explorations around sports, business enterprise, leadership and other topics, designed to eliminate racial, gender, economic or geographical barriers. Removing barriers exposes new ways to give.
LIVES -
The ODF recognizes that natural disasters, such as last year's storm struck Florida and Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, can be barriers because they destablize children's lives and threaten family unity. The Relief Opportunity Grants help extend the work of the faith-based community in restoring normalcy to the lives of such families.
VISION -
Finally, The ODF recognizes exemplary individual commitment, service to others and achievement through its Awards Program, intitiated this year with Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson receiving The 2005 Vision Award.
